Tapping the First Heat metal print by Martha Ressler.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print.   Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

Metal prints are extremely durable.   They're lightweight.  They won't bend, and they're water resistant.

Artist's Description

This is a dramatic moment in casting. The arc furnace has heated the steel to almost 3000 degrees, and the batch has passed the metallurgic tests. The crane man lowers the ladle into a big pit in front of the furnace, and the whole furnace is tipped to pour the white hot metal into the ladle. The Melter is directing the crane man from his booth, as the ladle man and assistant wait for their duties when the ladle is raised. I like how the supervisor planted himself with arms crossed, watching the whole scene with pride.
